The word NKWA finds its roots in the rich heritage of the Akan people in Ghana and Cote d’Ivoire. NKWA represents more than mere existence; it embodies the concept of abundance and the fullness of life. It paints a holistic picture of long life, vitality, well-being, prosperity, and peace. At NKWA, we draw inspiration from the essence of this word by embracing the values it embodies: abundance, vitality, and unity.

Our mission is to offer student-athletes equal opportunities and a comprehensive education, emphasizing the significance of harmonizing mind, body, and spirit, all within the framework of American Football. We aim to accomplish this by building a bridge between the laws of sports and the core principles of life.
Our Vision
We envision a world where the universal language of football transcends borders, fostering unity, empowerment, and a sense of global community. By establishing educational centers, we aim to create sustainable relationships through mentoring that nurtures self-love and community engagement. These centers will serve as hubs for learning and growth, where the importance of global networking through football is emphasized, ultimately connecting individuals from diverse backgrounds in a shared pursuit of excellence and mutual understanding.

OUR STORY
Natural Knowledge Wisdom Advancement (NKWA) is a faith-inspired nonprofit organization, born from a powerful vision to empower and uplift young athletes across the globe. Founded by Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, whose roots trace back to the vibrant and rich lands of Ghana, NKWA seeks to honor his paternal ancestry by beginning its journey in West Africa.
From this heartfelt starting point, our organization has grown, with programs not only flourishing in various regions of West Africa but also, the US, Middle East, and the West Indies, embodying our commitment to global outreach and support.
At NKWA, our mission is intricately woven around the acronym that defines us: Natural, Knowledge, Wisdom, Advancement. We believe in nurturing the natural talents of young athletes, enriching them with knowledge that extends beyond the playing fields, guiding them with wisdom to make life-enhancing decisions, and fostering their advancement in both personal and athletic domains.
Our approach is holistic, focusing on the development of a healthy mind, body, and spirit, which we consider essential for true success and fulfillment.

Jeremiah
Owusu-Koramoah
Deeply driven by his commitment to youth empowerment and development, Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah founded NKWA with the vision of establishing football camps across West Africa, starting in the land of his rich paternal heritage, Ghana.
Transitioning from notable academic and athletic achievements at the University of Notre Dame to his role as an accomplished linebacker for the Cleveland Browns, Jeremiah utilizes his professional insights and experiences to drive profound growth in the minds of youth, near and abroad.
His vision extends beyond the field; it's about harnessing the power of sport to educate, unite, and uplift. Jeremiah's unwavering commitment to positive impact through NKWA is not just about a game; it's a holistic approach to nurturing the mind, body, and spirit of young student-athletes. Through his leadership, NKWA embodies the values of integrity, teamwork, and community, making a profound difference in the lives of many across Africa, the U.S. and beyond.
